Modules with serial interfaces are now available for the decentralised I/O system PSSuniversal. As a result, there is no problem implementing applications that require field devices to communicate via serial protocols.
Modules for standard applications are available with the serial interfaces RS232 and RS485.
Modules with serial interfaces can be used with
- PSSuniversal head modules with standard fieldbus interface
- Controllers from the automation system PSS 4000 (PSSuniversal PLC, PSSuniversal I/O, in future PSSuniversal multi)
